ੴ Dhan Guru Ramdas Langar Sewa
Our story

Sewa, carried forward.

Dhan Guru Ramdas Langar Sewa is rooted in the Sikh tradition of Langar: nourishment offered with equality, dignity and devotion. Our mission is to ensure no individual lacks access to adequate nutrition in Punjab.

The tradition of Langar

One kitchen. Every person. No distinction.

Langar is a community kitchen where anyone — regardless of caste, religion, ethnicity or economic status — is served a free meal. It embodies equality and the oneness of all humanity.

Equality

Langar is served without distinction. Every person is welcomed with dignity.

Consistency

Daily preparation, fixed schedules and dedicated routes make service dependable.

Stewardship

Food quality, hygiene, vehicles and equipment are treated as responsibilities of sewa.

Growth

New programs are built around real needs, while Langar remains the foundation.
